High-Voltage Enhanced Current Mode PWM Controller
The AAC1045X/1045AX is a current mode PWM controller that offers a versatile solution for switch mode power supplies. Operating at a fixed switching frequency of 65kHz, 100khz, or 133 kHz with maximum duty cycle options of 50% or 80%, these controllers will allow designers to pick the right device to help reduce magnetics or improve EMI.
The AAC1045X/1045AX offers a high-voltage startup MOSET ensuring a clean and lossless startup. Adjustable cycle-skip provides a reduction in standby power consumption in light or no load conditions by allowing this feature to only be enabled during specified low peak currents. In addition, the AAC1045/1045A incorporates all the normally necessary external components needed in a UC384x based design, such as timing components, feedback devices, filters, and startup devices. Internal ramp compensation, built in soft-start, internal temperature shutdown, and full latchoff capability further ease the design of AC/DC adaptors.
