Limited analog implementations are possible. Tile Arrays Arrays of linear components for analog utilization (also called semi-custom arrays). Components are connected at customization levels (last masks). Suitable for fast turnaround and low volume applications. Limited digital implementations are possible. Standard Cells Design includes elements from an optimized and prelayed-out cell library. Fabrication requires a full mask set but design is faster than for full custom. Suitable for optimized analog/digital applications and medium to large volume quantities. Full Custom Design includes newly designed and layed-out blocks. Fabrication requires a full mask set. Suitable for highly optimized analog/digital applications and large volume quantities. Ultimate performance and die size reduction. Multi-Projects Up to 4 projects (full custom and/or standard cells) can be combined on the same wafer. This approach reduces NRE costs and helps fulfill minimum orders requirement from foundries for low volume applications.
